Graduating

  REQUIREMENTS

In order to graduate, students must have completed and registered all the exams required by their study plan at least 15 days before the start of the graduation session, as well as paid university fees, met all deadlines and followed the procedures for submitting degree applications and theses.

We recommend consulting the information on https://www.unipd.it/laurearsi

  HOW TO APPLY

Application deadlines for graduation https://www.unipd.it/laurearsi

The degree application must be completed in Uniweb, as indicated on the University website page > Domanda di laurea.

Students who postpone graduation are requested to follow the instructions at the link https://www.unipd.it/laurearsi and promptly notify the waiver to email: graduation.medicine.surgery@unipd.it, copying (Cc): conseguimentotitolo.studenti@unipd.it and medicina.studenti@unipd.it

It is also possible to request, after the graduation application and within 15 days from the beginning of the session, the optional inclusion of a co-supervisor (Correlatore). In case he/she is not present in the Unipd faculty database, it is required to send an email to conseguimentotitolo.studenti@unipd.it from the Co-supervisor copying (cc) the supervisor or vice versa, indicating the Co-supervisor's first name, last name, place and date of birth and Codice Fiscale number, as well as specifying which undergraduates he/she will be co-supervisor of.

  FINAL ASSESSMENT REGULATIONS

The degree regulations can be consulted at the following link: https://unipd.coursecatalogue.cineca.it/

  THESIS

After agreeing on the final version of the thesis with the supervisor, the student must produce the thesis in a PDF/A file with a maximum size of 40 MB, as per the instructions, and upload it to Uniweb following the guidelines.

A paper copy of the thesis is not required.

The Supervisor, having verified that the PDF/A matches the final agreed version, approves the thesis following the instructions reserved for faculty members at least 5 days before the graduation day (e.g., for a graduation day on July 5, approval of the thesis on Uniweb must be done by 11:59 p.m. on June 29). Once approved on Uniweb, the thesis will be available for consultation to the Graduation Board.
Please note that, as per the Graduate Examination Regulations, at least 10 days before the graduation day, the approved thesis must be emailed to the Examiner.

  EXPERIMENTAL THESIS FORMS

For graduating students with experimental theses, it is possible to indicate this type of thesis when applying for graduation online. When entering the thesis title in the graduation application, in the "thesis title" field - "thesis type", you can select one of the following two options: written thesis or experimental thesis. The thesis supervisor, when approving the thesis title, will also approve the type of thesis.

In addition, for graduates applying to Specialization Schools in the health sector, the self-certification form for experimental theses is provided below, which can be completed by the graduate and the thesis supervisor.

  DELIVERY OF GRADUATION DIPLOMAS

The graduation diploma will be delivered at the same time as the proclamation by the Chairman of the Commission.

  PADUA THESIS AND DISSERTATION ARCHIVE

Theses uploaded to Uniweb, whether freely accessible or subject to embargo, will be sent to the Padua Thesis and Dissertation Archive, the portal for the publication and search of bachelor's and master's theses, following the completion of the student's degree programme. In addition to the thesis attachment, the following will also be sent: the abstract (4000 bytes≈3500 characters including spaces), which must be approved by the supervisor together with the final thesis document, the keywords and the thesis title.

If a student wishes to change the way in which the thesis can be consulted, they must follow the instructions on the page https://www.unipd.it/laurearsi in the section “gestione elaborato finale”.
